Once Upon A Lifetime...

Thankful for pictures and once upon a time. In  my opinion, we are afforded a chance at reliving yesterday and perhaps better appreciate made memories.

You are still zestful, boisterous... so alive in my mind's eye. From voiced thoughts to the curve of your lips in a hearty smile. The beauty of yourself acclaimed prominent nose teased the world's lot. In the blink of an eye, your visage would be altered in a stern display of disgust or arched brows in a reprimanding attempt at correction in public. Ofcourse, we still have it on record that your hands, much like your mouth, were ever eager to do the talking.

Perhaps, it was the way your elated brown eyes danced with joy at the sight of a familiar face or your mouth left a gap in utter disbelief (Now, that could have been you showing off your dentition and oh... the diastema).

Your tactile nature would leave the tactical vest of the most love-less being, who crossed your path, bullet-riddled with warmth and affection. The world's burden seemed yours to assuage. However, your bluntness was tactless, yet, this earth still sighs in regret at losing such a tactful being.

Your crispy bank notes belonged to God and till date, mine do too.

You preferred bright colours but had this undying love for all things, brown. Apparently, it did your complexion a world of good. Still, you had no favourite colour(s); neither did you have a favourite child, as you would have the rest of the world believe. The colour red,sadly, never got the rousing welcome it deserves- but when it came to the vogue, you undoubtedly found  matching accessories.

So great was your love for the numbers "3" and "7" that you did the unimaginable. Now, the sun gets to shine like an invited guest on your birthdays and when it decides to give Mr. Rain some room, you fill our thoughts as we smile heavenwards, in gratitude for our many blessings, dancing in the showers.
